Has small leaves and makes a fairly dense canopy. Flowers a lot during the spring and fall and attracts pollinators like crazy. Every spring I prune it heavily, especially removing the lower branches, to force it to start making a higher umbrella canopy. Responds well to pruning with lots of new growth.
